Working with AI

Your AI conversation can sit beside the page you are editing or become the center of your workspace. Choose the presentation and run location that suit the task.

Workspace and agent presentation

The workspace view and the agent's presentation are separate settings.

Workspace viewUse it for
Web AppWorking in the regular app pages.
DesktopOrganizing app windows beside one another.
TableArranging work on a flexible workspace.
MultitaskFollowing a conversation alongside open sessions.

Agent styles include Side panel, Floating, Bottom input, and Voice. Use the available view controls or agent settings to change the presentation. Changing the layout does not grant extra account permissions or make a task run in the cloud.

Voice and images

Use the microphone control to speak your request. Grant microphone access when your browser or device asks. In the voice presentation, supported desktop controls also let you hold Space to speak and release it to send. Keep the text input unfocused when using that shortcut.

Hands-free listening, where available, has an explicit start/stop control. Check the listening state and turn it off when you finish. Voice availability depends on the browser, device, and selected settings.

Use Attach images to add a design reference, floor plan, or other relevant picture. Tell the assistant what to use it for. Attaching a photo does not start the camera; camera interaction uses a separately connected Camera session.

This device and cloud tasks

The run-location control beside the model chooser switches between this device and the cloud.

  • This device is useful for tasks that use the live page and open editors. Keep the tab available while it works.
  • Cloud tasks can keep running after you close the app. They use the capabilities available to the cloud agent, which can differ from those of the open app.

When Continue in cloud is available, use it after the current response finishes to hand the conversation over. Check that the cloud task has actually started before closing the app. Switching the location control alone is not proof that an existing task was handed off.

Open the task from History or its notification to review progress, results, and pending changes. Confirm that you are in the business account that owns the task. If a run pauses for credits, resolve the balance issue before resuming.

Review changes and stop work

Read the proposed values and affected record before approving a change. Cloud tasks can leave changes for confirmation; the Needs you area on Agents brings those decisions together. Some local editor actions apply directly as part of your request, so say “show me a plan first” when that is what you want.

Use the available Stop control to stop an active run. Closing the panel does not stop a cloud task. Stopping also does not undo actions already completed. Inspect the actual record before deciding what to change next.

Use the new-conversation control for a separate task, and History to return to earlier work. Keeping related changes in one conversation helps the assistant use the context you have already supplied.

Models and credits

The model chooser shows the models available to your account. Choose from that current list rather than relying on a fixed list in a guide. Agent settings may also expose response or voice options.

AI usage consumes credits according to the operation and model. Image and video generation also use credits and can take longer than a text response. Specify the number, format, and purpose of media you want; review the result before generating more.

When a result needs another pass

If the assistant finds the wrong record, identify the right one before asking it to continue. For missing access or data, check the active business, permissions, relevant connection, and whether the task needs an editor open in the app.

If an answer seems incomplete, ask it to show the records or sources it used. A missing price is not a zero price, and a search may cover only the available records. Check published content, sent messages, and completed changes in their actual destination rather than relying only on a summary.

For repeatable work, turn a successful brief into a scheduled or event-triggered agent. For a business phone assistant, use AI Proxy.
