Stints

Documentation for SRVZr Stints - design automated service workflows and dispatch them to your team.

Overview

A Stint is a defined unit of robotic or remote work. It packages the work context, the compatible Servo types, the policy that governs behavior, and the execution path used by the network.

Create and dispatch a Stint

  1. Define the objective and completion condition.
  2. Choose the supported Servo Types.
  3. Attach the Policy or policy template that governs behavior.
  4. Confirm required inputs, locations, timing, and fallback behavior.
  5. Test the business flow in Simulator when applicable; this does not certify a physical robot.
  6. Review the Stint and its access settings before making it available to operators.
  7. Review execution output, errors, and the resulting operational record.

Human and robot handoff

Design the Stint so an operator can understand what the Servo was asked to do, what it received, and where it stopped. If a task is not safe to complete autonomously, make the handoff explicit and preserve the context for the person who takes over.

See Servo workspace for Policies, Notebooks, Strengths, and Simulator.
