Documentation for SRVZr Rentals - manage rental listings and bookings from the SRVZr provider dashboard.

Overview

Rentals manage time-bounded access to items, spaces, or equipment. The record describes what can be rented; a Rental Flow collects dates, pickup details, rules, pricing, quote, and payment.

Rental workflow

1. Create the rental record and confirm availability in Inventory.
2. Build a Rental Flow with Rental Page, pickup location, rental rules, timing and pricing, quote, checkout, and Rental endpoint nodes.
3. Define minimum and maximum duration, billing period, and any weekday restrictions.
4. Test overlapping dates and unavailable inventory in Simulator.
5. Confirm the booking in Calendar and reconcile the invoice and payment.

Operational details

Make pickup location and return expectations explicit. If a rental has different pricing by duration, keep the rule in Timing & Pricing so the quote explains how the total was calculated. Treat Inventory as the availability source of truth.
