Things to ask your AI
Start with the result you want, then add your business details. These examples use fictional names and circumstances. Replace them with your own and review the resulting work.
Set up a new offering
I want to offer residential cleaning. Help me decide what information to collect, what affects the quote, and which questions to ask before booking. Ask about anything important that I have not specified.
Then make the plan concrete:
Create an inquiry form with name, email, address, property type, number of bedrooms, preferred date, and a place to upload photos. Ask about pets only when the customer says they have pets. Show me the finished form.
Open your flow and continue:
Inspect this flow and help me connect the inquiry form. Check the connections and explain what I still need to configure before customers use it.
Give the assistant your pricing rules instead of asking it to guess. See Forms and Flow Builder for the underlying controls.
Prepare for the day
Summarize today's calendar events and active work orders. Flag jobs with missing information and identify the records you used. Do not change anything yet.
For a recurring briefing:
Create a weekday agent for 8:00 AM that summarizes today's work and flags missing details. Leave any proposed changes for my review. Show me the schedule and instructions before saving it.
Check the account and timezone in the preview. The Agents guide explains how to pause it and inspect its runs.
Understand a customer or job
Find the customer Alex Rivera and summarize their recent work orders and notes. If there is more than one matching customer, ask me which one I mean.
Find jobs whose form answers mention a leaking gutter. Show the matching answers and open the job I choose.
Once the correct job is open:
Add a note to this work order: the customer prefers an afternoon visit.
Show me a preview of assigning this job to Jamie. Wait for me to confirm.
Review the source records in Customers or the work-order view.
Improve intake from past work
Review our completed work orders for recurring extra requests or details we often discover late. Suggest up to three intake questions or add-ons and show the jobs supporting each suggestion.
Choose an idea before asking for edits:
Add the agreed access question to the intake form I have open. Keep the existing questions and show me the updated form.
A pattern can suggest an improvement; it does not establish a new business policy by itself.
Prepare an invoice
Open the invoice you want to edit:
Update this invoice with two hours of cleaning at $45 per hour and a $20 supplies line. Use Canadian dollars. Show me the line items and total before I send it.
Check the customer, tax settings, dates, and final total in Invoices. Editing an invoice is separate from sending it or collecting payment.
Plan an event
Help me prepare a workshop for October 24, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, with 30 places and $25 admission. Ask me for the location and any other required details. Keep it unpublished while I review it.
Attach a floor-plan image and open the layout editor:
Arrange six tables with five seats each, keeping the entrances clear. Compare the layout with my image and show me the result.
You can then ask for a poster in Canvas. Check the event details and layout before publishing.
Create content and a website
In this Canvas, make a square workshop poster using the event details we agreed on. Use our business colors, keep the text readable, and leave room for an image.
Write a one-page staff checklist for preparing the room. Use headings and a short checklist in the document I have open.
Help me build a website for my cleaning business with services, service area, and a contact page. Ask me for the details you need, then show me the preview before publishing.
For generated media, specify what you need: “Generate one transparent image of cleaning equipment for this poster.” Check the Working with AI guide for credits and model choices.
Work with your team and stock
Review next week's shifts and highlight gaps or conflicts. Propose a draft plan without publishing it.
Look at the current inventory and identify low-stock items. Show the item records before proposing any adjustments.
Create a preparation recipe for this menu item, including ingredients, quantities, and steps. Stage any catalog changes for review.
Research a decision
Compare three approaches to promoting our workshop. Use current sources, explain the assumptions, and present a small comparison with the next steps.
Follow up with “Turn the option I chose into a planning board.” Review sources, dates, and estimates before using research to make a commitment.
Get a better result
A useful request includes the goal, the page or records, the details that matter, and what you want to review. Continue with a precise correction such as “Keep the existing fields and add one question about access” or “Explain where that number came from.”
If the assistant cannot complete a part, ask what information, access, or connection is missing. The available actions can differ between the live app and a cloud task.
