Connect an external account
Choose a connection for a specific job: receive customer messages, take a supported payment, import accounting history or publish approved content. Those workflows have different authorization and completion requirements.
1. Identify the provider and business
Open Integrations and confirm the selected business. Read the provider's current state before connecting it. Coming soon is not a usable connection; the inspected Square card used that state. The e-Transfer card now offers Link an email, rather than Coming soon.
2. Authorize the intended identity
Use the provider's connection action, inspect the external account and requested permissions, and finish its authorization. Return to SRVZr and check the connected identity. Do not authorize a personal account merely because it is already signed in.
The reviewed test business had a connected Bills by email mailbox. No new external account was authorized during the walkthrough, so no empty setup screen is presented as a successful connection.
3. Finish feature-specific setup
- Stripe: complete account verification and inspect payment/payout readiness. Configure the intended terminal or payment method separately.
- Messaging: check that the intended business channel reaches the team's inbox.
- Social accounts: inspect the account offered in Content and its remaining provider requirements.
- e-Transfer: configure the linked email workflow for authenticated deposit notifications and review matching results. It does not initiate a transfer.
- QuickBooks: review the one-time import's company, currency and switch date before starting. This can affect earlier native Books history; it is not a continuous sync.
4. Verify the destination workflow
Use an agreed test appropriate to the connection and inspect the actual result. A connected badge does not prove that a message arrived, a payment succeeded, a post was delivered or accounting balances reconciled. For Content, check approval and saved scheduling carefully: approving a cut can also schedule its post when a future publishing time is already saved.
See Integrations, QuickBooks Import, Payments and Content for the detailed checks and reviewed limits.
